CITY OF ALAMEDA’S HARASSMENT CAMPAIGN

City staff systematically and with no explanation stopped engaging with Greenway Golf shortly before the front nine holes of the North Course redevelopment was completed in October of 2021. Having cut off Greenway’s ability to address any City concerns on an informal basis, they established a pattern of harassment in order to fabricate evidence against the company to bring before City Council with a recommendation to file litigation. No efforts were ever made by City Staff or City Council during this period to engage in conversation with anyone at Greenway before escalating to legal action.
