NOTICES OF VIOLATION & DEMAND LETTERS

For more than four years, the City of Alameda waged a sustained, document-driven campaign against Greenway Golf. City staff issued a barrage of violation notices, each carrying the threat of lease termination. Many were over matters the City knew were were factually false. Others cited requirements that appear nowhere in the lease or were issued while Greenway was already actively performing the work in question. Taken together, the record shows that this was a coordinated campaign to manufacture lease defaults — to pressure, destabilize, and ultimately dispossess Greenway of its rights.
